The tour begins with pick up at the hotel and a transfer to Cefalù. As arrived, you will immediately feel the magic of the place and desire not to go away anymore. Built on a promontory (overlook by a cliff) Cefalù still has its ancient look thanks to its medieval alleys and the beautiful cathedral commissioned by King Ruggero II.

The marine part of the village is very charming, as well, with its ancient little houses looking onto the sea, the ancient lavatory and the long beach made of thin ochre sand, one of the most beautiful of the Sicilian northern coast.

Walking through the village it’s easy to be tempt by the several shops and specialties of the the sicilian typical cuisine.

Leaving Cefalù, we will move to Castelbuono that is a tiny and beautiful village rising up in one of the valleys of Milocca hill, in a wood landscape of oaks, chestnut trees, ashes and cherry-trees. Venturing into the city centre you will breathe the air of an ancient past, best represented by the Castle commissioned by Ventimiglia aristocratic family in the 14th century. Castelbuono is famous also for some particular tastes such as the manna, a sweet liquid coming out from the ashes and clotting under the heat of the sun, and the Fiasconaro’s panettone, a typical italian christmas cake, popular all over the world.

Transfer back to the hotel.
