Genealogical research, tours and excursions all over Sicily

Our tourist offer can be entirely customized according to your interests and needs. We are going to plan the tour following your desires with professionalism and competence.

The tour begins with pick up from the hotel and a transfer to Siracusa. As arrived we would visit the Neapolis (new town) archeological park, where the most of the classic monuments of Siracusa are settled.

This is the best representative area of the ancient greek and roman culture. The main monuments are: the greek theatre (still use for greek dramas or music events) the roman anphitheatre, and the Ear of Dionisio. Not far from the archeological park, we would visit the San Giovanni Catacombs going through the subsoil and the history of Siracusa.

Right after will move over Ortigia island, the historic centre of the town, where medieval palaces and baroque buildings coexists. We would visit the cathedral, built on the ruins of the temple of Athena and the Aretusa spring, whose origins are told by an ancient greek mith.

Walking through the alleys we would also follow the traces of the past handcraft traditions as the one of the papyrus paper, the papyrus plant grows spontaneously on the rivers of the Ciane river, nearby Siracusa.

The last stop of our tour will be Noto, a little baroque jewel on the top of a upland. The town was destroyed in 1693 by an earthquake and completely rebuilt in baroque style: the best examples are: the Cathedral, Palazzo Ducezio (location of the city hall), Palazzo Landolina, Palazzo Trigona, the church of San Domenico, villetta d’Ercole with its fountain. The whole town of Noto was declared a UNESCO world heritage site.
